My Story

My name is Brea Ishler. I'm 18 years old and a freshman in college. I have type one diabetes, diagnosed in 2008. I use an Animas insulin pump, and I (sometimes) use a Dexcom G4 as well. I live and go to school in Maryland. I'm currently in the process of learning how to love my life and live it to the fullest. This blog documents years past, and I hope it will document the future as well. My journey with diabetes has been long and hard, like everyone's. I'm still here. I'm still fighting. I'm still trying. And I hope you are, too.
